Baby carrying changed my life. Seriously! With our first I could afford to spend all my time holding my little baby, but when number two came along it was a different story! All of a sudden I had to be able to move around with baby, as well, my little one hated the carseat for the first five months, so I used my carrier a lot when out running errands, so I wouldn’t be screamed at from the shopping cart. Most of us here at Precious Kargo have used carriers extensively, and they’ve all proven useful in so many different ways!
Janelle’s Favourite Carrier is the Ergo Original. It’s a classic for a reason! She loved the roomy pocket on the front, how comfy it is, how easy it was to put on and adjust. Made from a sturdy canvas material, the Ergos (in all their styles) are especially useful as your babies become toddlers, and beyond.
Jennifer loved a stretchy carrier for when her boys were little, be it a Moby or 3-piece system like the Baby Buddha. Stretchy carriers are just so cozy for newborns and infants!
Meaghan really liked using a ring sling when her babies were new, and still super cuddly, but as they got bigger she found she really appreciated her woven wraps. Durable and multifunctional, wraps are a great multi use carrier, as there is no weight limit! Though the learning curve is steeper than an Ergo, she found that once she had it down, getting baby into a wrap was pretty straightforward.
